From a collectors standpoint, is there more profit in selling nuggets, or bullion?

I've spoken to a gold bullion broker on this very subject, and he says that well-formed gold nuggets have collector value above spot price. In California gold country, they're often made into jewelry and sold for a premium. That's his opinion, but I have not tried to sell gold nuggets to collectors.
