If we "teach a man to fish," will that cure US unemployment which is now running at almost 10%?

No, we are seeing the impacts of shifting from a labor-intensive manufacturing/service economy to an intelligence-intensive knowledge economy. Basically, we are growing our economy but need fewer people to do so, since technology is replacing labor. The problem is not unemployment; it is how we distribute wealth. We are a wealthy society, but we need to prioritize our spending away from war, materialism, junk food, immediate gratification, etc.
