I would like some educated opinion on Ernesto Guevara or "Che". All opinions please no matter your politics.?

I just watched to Motorcycle Diaries again for the second time. The movie is outstanding and of course the movie paints him as this wonderful kind gentle man but I have herd quite the opposite and that he was a cold blooded murderer. I have read the Wikipidia bio so I would like other opinions please.
