you should make a list of things to do with him before you leave;; make sure you spend as much time with him as poosible. when you go to sans fransisco tell him to call you everyday or you call him ,, use MSN and have video calls with webcams and make sure that you appreciate him the time you have with him. you could even organised a day where you just sit around the house with him and talk and stuff before you go. i hope it all works out well for you!
