Do I tell my FWB again that i want to date?

I'm 22 years old and I have been friends with benefits with my guy friend for almost 2 years now. Last summer when we were both drunk I poured my heart out to him and said that I liked him and said that I wanted to date him. He never actually said the words that he had feelings for me, but he said that he's "wanted me" for a long time (which was about 6 months before we started hooking up and while he had a gf). The thing is that nothing ever happened to that because shortly after he moved 15 hours away for a different job. Now he moved back. Nothing has changed between us and I'm pretty sure he knows I still have feelings for him. Do I bring it up again that I have feelings for him (which is scary for me because I'm really shy) or should I just wait for him to say something if he does actually have feelings for me?
